Wood Collections

Wood Saints offer a cheap and convenient wood collection service across the Black Country, which provides a sustainable alternative to skip hire and landfill.

Our teams collect from small building businesses, residential properties, right up to large construction sites on behalf of multinational building companies.

All our collected wood is recycled or reused to create quality furniture and bespoke pieces at our Wood Saints Workshop. By choosing Wood Saints over a skip, not only are you saving resources but also helping to create jobs and training opportunities for local people.

Where do we collect?

We collect wood from anywhere in the Black Country  (Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell and Dudley), as well as South Staffordshire, Telford and Shropshire.

What do we collect?

  • Clean dry timber
  • Whisky barrels
  • Joinery off-cuts
  • Lengths of wood
  • Pallets
  • Floor boards and solid wood doors
  • Sheet materials minimum of 1m2 and dry – mdf, ply and chip board
  • Solid wood
  • Fencing

 What we don’t collect

  • Wet sheet materials – mdf, ply and chip board
  • Painted and treated wood
  • Very small pieces of wood
  • Wooden furniture (although we may consider pieces of exceptional quality)

How much does it cost?

Our collection charges vary depending on the amount, quality and location of your wood waste. We have minimum charges for smaller loads (from £75 + vat) and we are flexible!

No need for skip hire, no landfill

We help with your unwanted timber in a number of different ways. If the wood that you have is of a sufficient quantity and quality, we may be able to offer free collection.

How we work

For one-off collections our team will be happy to assess what you have and give you a quote. If you produce regular amounts of timber waste we can arrange regular collections. Our smallest clients call us every once in a while, our largest site produced four loads a week.
