Basic Woodworking Class – Choose what you make (Window Box or Planter)

Join us for a hands-on woodworking experience at Wood Saints – The Wood Depot! Whether you’re a beginner or have some woodworking skills, this class is perfect for you. Get ready to unleash your creativity and craft your very own Window Box or Planter. Our expert instructors will guide you through the entire process, from selecting the right wood to using essential tools. You’ll learn valuable techniques and gain the confidence to tackle future woodworking projects. Don’t miss out on this fun and educational event!

Using reclaimed timber, collected by ASAN Wood Saints, our workshop manager will walk you through the steps to crafting your very own Window Box or Planter. You’ll learn how to measure and cut wood accurately and safely; as well as sanding, planing, drilling and sawing.

Workshop Tools To Be Used:

Chop/ Mitre saw -Cut wood at various angles. Band saw – Rip through timber. Drill driver – Pilot holes & fixing screws. Pillar drill – bore vertical holes. Palm sander – Versatile sanding

Participating in the class will build your confidence to use a range of woodworking tools and techniques, while making your very own wine & glass holder. All tools, equipment and materials will be provided on the day.

Please arrive 15 mins before the class begins. There will also be a 30 minute break during the session for lunch or refreshments.
